Uhm....

I... almost completely forgot I had this blog...

Although, I think...

...I think nobody reads it. Grandpa read it, but he passed away this summer. So it's left without a reader.

I don't know if I can post to it anymore. We will see.

I love you, Grandpa.

Ghandi and Candy Canes

So. Who do you think you are, trying to sell me candy canes? You KNOW that I can't afford them. You know that I get addicted very easily. WHY WHY WHY??

Oh. I know why. Because you're a stupid head and you want my money.

Where does Ghandi come in to all of this? I still need to buy the dumb book for my philosophy class....

How many months has it been? My last post here celebrated my 18th birthday... Nifty.

Tuesday, February 13, 2007

Well, then.

First blog post as an 18 year old.

Wow.

Well, not a heck of a lot to say, I'm afraid. Just that I'm now legal. Fear. Fear for your lives!

NaNoWriMo

Ah, alas!

Months have sped by during which I have not posted a single word here, and for that I apologize.

Right now, however, I am consumed with a burning desire to write. Since I cannot seem to work on my NaNo story, I will write ABOUT it.

NaNoWriMo, if I may explain, is an amazing, 30-day challenge. From November 1st to November 31st, you spend every waking moment focused on one thing: your novel. Your 50,000 word novel.

It's a fantastic idea, and one in which I am partaking of this year. My novel? A rewrite of my life, rebooting at approximately 7 years old and taking me through military training, culminating in an epic battle between the US Governent and hoardes of Nazis, Ninjas, Robots and Zombies.

Or not. I haven't figured if I can use the Zombies yet.

Tick, tock.

And once again, after an insaely long absence, I have returned. Wow, my last post I was still 16. Incredible, ne? Now, however, I am 17 years old, I am passing all my classes, and I am (shock of all shocks) whearing an all-white outfit.

Alright, you may get up from your feinged heart attacks... And the real ones, too.

No, actually, I am wearing a grey sweater. See, today we thought I had a dentist appointment, so we went to Alpena only to discover that I didn't hav an appointment, so... Well, by that time I wouldn't ahve gotten back to school until well after it would be a decent time, so I played hookie. Yeah, big surprise.

Lol, well, we went to Big Lots, where I got this ADORABLE little thing called a Nohohon. It's like a little bobble head whose head actually sways back and forth by a little.. well, I don't think it's a motor.. but it has a solar cell thingy that charges it. Whatever it is, it's adorable.

Anyway, after Big Lots, we went to JoAnn's fabrics and got me a beautiful fabric for a kimono. 8 yards, yes, but at only 2 dollars a year, it was insanely cheap. Well, for JoAnn's at least. Anyway, it's this really pretty black with pink and yellow flaowers on it. When the kimono is made, I'll post picutres. I jsut need an obi and an obi-jime for it now. <3

After JoAnns, we went to Wal-Mart. <3 gotta love it. I got a long, full white skirt in the style that I prefer... I have noticed my family's somewhat reluctant acceptance of my more usual, bomber blacks and dark blues and greens, and have decided to humor them slightly in this purchase. I also got a matching white tank top, as well as a brilliant green and oragne and purple tye-dye-rumble-twist-whatever the heck it is shirt... It's the kind of shirt i wouldn't normally be caught dead it, you know? Plus a pretty sage green tunic-style top. So all in all, an outfit i'd never normally wear. (Plus matching white shoes). But I'll give it a shot. It'd be cool to walk in to school wearing the whole white ensemble... and then my black coat over it. I'd look like a penguin. The Matrix Penguin, with my glasses. Oh yeah. ph33r d4 p3ngu1n.

In other news... Well, life's been life. I'm in a good mood, so I can't particularly recall any of the worse aspects of it, but in any case. It's finally getting warmer up here, which is a blessing all it's own, dance is becoming harder than I'd like, but the end is near. For my brithday, I got Dance Dance Revolution for PS2, plus a PS2 and a dance mat (the exact setup I had previously wished for <3<3 I love my parents). Therefore, I now have something to actively occupy me for a while <3

Hmm... Wow, for not haivng blogged in a while, I really can't think of much to say... O.o;
